Current and Past (TFG/TFM and old PFC) Students

We are very proud of all the students that decided to work with us in their graduation projects (known here as Proyecto Fin de Carrera or Trabajo Fin de Grado). Hopefully, the effort devoted to their projects has been beneficial for their professional careers.

Below, we show a list of students who are currently developing their work with us and some of the most distinguied cases we have had in the past.

2018

  • Andrea Alarcia Gutiérrez

TFG: Impacto de la Arquitectura del Procesador en aplicaciones Big-Data

    Advisor: Pablo Abad

    Current Status:

Andrea is exploring the performance efficiency of NoSQL applications running on top of general-purpose CPUs. Through hardware counter monitoring, she evaluates the effect on the cache hierarchy of diverse design decisions made on NoSQL database.

  • Luis Pérez Moya

TFG: Evaluación, Virtualización y Simulación sobre arquitectura ARM

    Advisor: Pablo Prieto

    Current Status:

Luis currently holds a collaboration grant from the “Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte”, to develop his Project. His work focuses on the configuration of a CPU+GPU ARM architecture to be able to run the simulation framework gem5.

2017

  • Alejandro Fernández Gutiérrez

TFG: Desarrollo y evaluación de cargas de trabajo NoSQL open-source bajo tecnologías con contenedor

    Advisor: Jose Angel Herrero
