Short Bio:
I am an assistant professor in the Department of Computer and Electrical Engineering at the University of Cantabria. I received my PhD (2020) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM); a Master on Industrial Electronics in 2013 from the UPM; and my BS and MS in “Ingienería Industrial” (equivalent to Electrical Engineering) from the UPM in 2011. I have been a PostDoc in the Department of TEISA at the University of Cantabria from November 2023 to August 2025; and a PostDoc in the Circuits and Systems group at the TU Delft from January 2019 to December 2022. I have particapated in several European Projects: PRYSTINE, NewControl, AI4CSM, and AIDOaRt.
Currently, I am main lecturer in the undergraduate course of Digital Systems.
Research Interest:
My research interest are around hardware accelerators for machine learning, HLS (High-Level Synthesis), FPGAs, and system-level simulations.
